This is definitely worth buying!! My parents bought this in September 2021 for there RV not realizing there RV wasn’t a queen size. They knew I was looking into getting another mattress as I was hopeful I could put my mattress next to another queen to make it one large bed since my husband and I had our first son in Feb and he slept with us. We moved this mattress into our place around Oct 2021. Unfortunately putting 2 queens didn’t work like I hoped but we ending up getting rid of our old bed as this bed was much better. Our old queen mattress was around 3yrs old and about $1200, it was great when we got it but within a year was super soft and sunk into. We are now looking for a king size mattress and went to big Sandy’s and found a few we liked, they cost $1,300-$2,500.. while at the store I told my husband I was going to see how much the queen size was my parents had bought off amazon since I thought it’s held up really good for the past year, I was amazed to see it was in the $400 range!! This mattress is just as good as the others costing triple the price we tried out. I was sad to see the king is out of stock in this bed! We went with another brand on here so hopefully it’s similar to this one. I’d definitely suggest getting this mattress if you like firmer beds, it’s not horribly firm but definitely not no pillow top. Five stars all the way for the price, comfort & how well it’s held up this past year!!I read endless reviews about quite a few different mattresses. Reviews on Amazon, Googled reviews, ect.After about five days of doing that, I chose this one. I wanted something with springs but I wanted foam too. I wanted sturdy sides but mostly I wanted something that didn't make me feel like I had received a series of sports injuries when I woke up in the morning ( my old mattress did that). And I didn't want to go broke buying it.This mattress is perfect in each of those things. I have no regrets about buying it. It feels way more expensive than it actually is.So, I bought this 12” mattress a little over a year ago, June 2021, for $370… and it is now $100 more….If you like a firm mattress, this will probably be a great choice for you. It seems to be good quality and has held up through one move, so far. I slept on it once and immediately went out and bought a topper. It was too firm for me.Mattress is nice, my daughter likes it, says it's comfortable. Medium-firm, nice to have the pillow top part. Only gripe would be that it's not a 10inch mattress. It puffed to about 8-9 inches. It's ok bc for our purpose I didn't want it to puff up to full 10 due to the trundle bed not being tall. I put the bed in on purpose after 24hrs so it wouldn't get to it's full potential. No smell at all, love that it has side handles to make it easier to pull out to put sheets on. Very happy with purchase.Our old mattress--a fifteen-year-old Stearns & Foster--was killing us, but we couldn't go bed shopping in the middle of the pandemic. After tons of online research, I bought this Novilla King mattress as a surprise for my wife. The reviews were uniformly good, the features were what we wanted, and the price was terrific.It's extraordinarily comfortable for a mattress that cost so little. We've only had it for a month and a half, but it is holding up well so far. It is described as "medium firm" and I'd say that is close to accurate; it's probably halfway between medium firm and firm. It looks attractive and is the full 12 inches high specified. The mattress "sleeps cool"; we don't find heat building up beneath us over night. There is very little movement transfer, too: My wife sleeps a little less soundly than I, but I can get in and out of bed without disturbing her. We definitely would recommend this Novilla model.Now for the warnings:First, this mattress is really heavy. Amazon lists the weight as nearly 115 pounds and I believe it. You will need two strong people (or one REALLY strong person) to move it from your front door to wherever you are going to use it. You can take it out of the box, but do not unwrap it until you have it on the platform where you will use it. Also, the mattress has a top and a bottom, so there is no flipping it periodically. Novilla does recommend rotating it head to foot from time to time, but as previously mentioned you will need two people to accomplish that.Second, be very careful when you are cutting through the heavy duty plastic wrapping. We positioned the mattress at the foot of our platform bed, having figured out which direction it was going to unroll. When I cut to within the last foot of the plastic wrapping, the mattress sprang open with explosive force. Had anyone been in the path, he or she would have been hit very hard by a very heavy mattress. We contacted Novilla about the lack of warning for this behavior in the instructions and they appear to be dealing with updating the documentation. Until they do, be forewarned and take care no one and nothing is in the area where the mattress will unroll.Bed is the perfect firmness, have noticed a improvement in pain relief. Bed didnt take long to adjust too.
